Netbeans CVS support not up to Eclipse standard

When working in Netbeans 6.0 I really miss the CVS support in Eclipse. “Synchronize with repository” is a really nice view.

Let’s say someone adds a new directory to a project. How can I get that directory into my working directory in Netbeans? It isn’t visible in “CVS \ Show Changes”. I can get it by just selecting “Update” but then I will get all updates for that part of the tree. I want to be more selective. I miss the control I get in Eclipse.

I feel betrayed

I gave my digital life to Apple and now they won’t give me Java 6? I totally expected to upgrade all my Macs to Leopard and have a nice, shiny Java 6 to try our software on.

Does the word “Preview” mean anything to Apple? They had a Java 6 Preview for a looong time. Now even that is gone. A “Preview” usually means that something is going to be released in the near future.

Instead of Java 6 they are giving me some Ruby stuff I just as easily could have installed from MacPorts?

There won’t be any new big cats in my house, that’s for sure. I will even consider killing the Tigers, Ubuntu-style.

Apple is killing Java on Macs. They will lose customers. Think about the enterprise sector. There are a lot of Java Swing applications running as clients to Java EE servers in big corporations and governmental organizations. Apple need Java to get into those places.

All I ask for is a roadmap. Please? I sort of liked the cat.
